Personality: Quiet and Fairly reserved, he's just 'that guy'. He sticks to himself and usually takes everything out with cars. A true mechanic, you could say he's a big handy to have around. Not the sharpest of guys, he gets by though. So what he doesn't know anything about calculus? He's chivalrous and very kind, always showin he upmos respect for the opposite gender. He's got a bit of a sarcastic attitude sometimes, when it's provoked of course. He's an all around great guy, just a little disregarded is all.

She likes to show her maturity, but have the tendency to fall into the uncontrollable flirting spiral. She's quite intelligent. An artist in both the fine arts and literature, but rarely uses these talents in every-day life.

Kairi had been happening to watch tv one morning. Laying on the couch and listening to the news stories. Kidnappings, whats happening in life till they came up with a new report. She had thought she was the only Fire elementer, turns out.. Today, there had been a report of a boy being shot with a silver bow. Streight to the heart and in the head. No signs of fingerprints on thses so called arrows. But there were burnt footprints in the grass." the news continued on, causing Kairi to just stare at the tv. She wasnt the only one..now she IS the only one. Hunters. No one else would have silver Bows. maybe the tips but not the whole arrow. The immortals were being hunted. Kairi reacted and hurried upstairs, packing her clothes. "Dammit.. any other immortals out there..better watch your backs."

Mia walked, hands in pockets down the side street to her apartment building. It wasn't the best of weather, but the grey skies gave her a small comfort. Upon reaching the door to the towering levels of homes, she pushed the door open with her palm and continued inside. Deciding to take the stairs up to her place instead of the elevator, she rounded the corner to a second door, but something glinted in the corner of her eye. Distracted, she wondered over to the small object and picked it up. It looked like a silver piece of flint. A pointed triangle like a spear-head. Had someone been in her building? No one here knew of her strange secret. She could feel the wolf welling up inside her. Pocketing the object, she sprinted up the stairs and scrambled to get a small key from the pocket not containing the arrow-head. Up another two flights of stairs, she found her front door and jammed the key inside, twisting it and wrenching the door open. She threw the arrow-head onto her coffee table and lowered herself onto the couch staring at it. She knew exactly what this would mean. But she didn't know how many others were out there.

Max: Lugging his dufflebag over his shoulder, his other hand loosened the tie around his neck. The funeral was over anyway, and he was the only one still there so it didn't matter. His gaze was set on the writing covering the granite block in front of him. Reading 'In memory of Nathalie Turners. Loving sister and daughter.' Letting out a deep sigh, he patted the top of the block before turning around and walking away. Now that these hunters had gotten to Nathalie, he had to leave. She would want him to live and not seek revenge for this, so that thought was quickly cast away as soon as he heard about her death. He didn't know exactly where he was going but he was leaving. He quickly headed to the train station and bought a ticket to the other side of the city, where Nathalie's house was. It was a dumb decision but he needed some more information on what he was dealing with. He boarded the train, noticing how crammed it was immeadiately and regretted his decision but took a spot near the back. A few stares were cast his way, no doubt people wondering why he was dressed in a rather formal way. One person stuck out to him though, they weren't just staring, they were examining him. He shifted around slightly to block his view and just stared out the window of the train. The last thing he needed was for here to be an outburst on the train. He had no place to go to get away.

Marc: Walking out of the bar and to his car, after a rather long night of work guardin he doors, he shuffled through his keys trying to find the one that belonged to his car. Once he found it, he smirked and stuck it into the lock on the door. When he suddenly heard some footsteps behind him though he looked over his shoulder and caught sight of two men. He turned around and smiled, lifting his arms up in a surrendering way. "Look, bars closed and I'm going home. come on back tomorrow guys." He stopped smilin though, soon after speakin because they seemed to be still coming closer. His eyes examined them, looking for something to identify them but he couldn't find anything. Something was glinting though, in one of their hands and he was confused as to what it was. When they came close enough, he ruffled his hair and cleared his throat before speaking again. "Look, I don't know what you want but I've gotta get home. Work early in the morning ya know." He started to turn around but was stopped as something pierced his side. Silver, by the way it burned he guessed it was. Turning to the two of them again, he pushed one of them to the ground the best he could injured so badly and ignored the smaller one. His hand grabbed ahold of the sharp object in his side and he pulled it out, burning his hand in the process. Tossing it to the ground, he didn't have much time before they both pushed him against the car. Using the rest of the energy he had left, he pushed them both away with a shove of his forearms against their chests and took off in a sprint away. Forget his car, he just had to get away. After running for as long as he possibly could, he stopped in the closest ally and lifted his shirt to check the wound on his side.

Kairi finished up, making sure she packed some foods that didnt require much doing. Like beef jerkey, and some other good crap. Zipping the bag, she grabbed her keys and her shades, sliding them on. Kairi picked up the bag and headed out of her house and to her car, tossing her bag in 'Oh,where are you going,Kairi?' she heard a womans voice and she looked over "oh, just some family things.. something happened." Lies, all lies. She couldnt trust anyone right now. not ever, unless they were immortals just like herself. The woman looked around before pulling out the silver arrow 'I heard these kill immortals, weird, huh?' the woman laughed and went after Kairi. She took her hand and slamed a thick flame into the womans stomach and knocking her over. The Arrow scratched her in the process. She jumped into the car and drove away, scared as anything right now/

Mia sat staring at the silver arrow-head on her table, her eyes flitting from it to the phone, then to the door and back again. Anyone could be behind this. She had no one else to turn to. Finally getting up off her couch, she placed the arrow head in a tiny locked safe concealed within the wall of her closet. She then stepped towards the door and bolted it shut, then secured the chain on its latch. Some people would call this paranoia, but Mia knew that her life, and the lives of all immortals was in danger. She flexed her fingers, allowing her nails to turn claw-like for a moment. She walked over the the window and stared down into the bustling street below. All these innocent humans had no idea what was happening. and there they were able to get on with their busy lives. But not her. Not her or those of her kind.

(Ooc: Just a quick character explanation. Mia isn't a typical werewolf. She has the ability to transform into a feral wolf at will, also manipulating select physical traits of her body to become wolf-like.)

Marc: Wincing as his index finger touched the skin around the wound, blood staining his fingers. How had he just let something like this happen? His guard was always supposed to be up, no matter what. Letting his shirt drop back into place, he pressed his back onto the brick wall of the building, shadowed by the dark in the alley. What was he going to do? He couldn't go home, they'd look there first. He needed to get some clothes and get out of town. Or at least make it up north of the city. Getting out of the alley, he shoved his hands into his pockets and kept his eyes down, careful not to draw attention to himself. When he rounded a corner though, he noticed nobody was really around because it was rather late and he took advantage of his surroundings. He stopped in front of a clothing store and looked inside, noting that nobody was there and the store was dark enough to cast a shadow on his tall figure so nobody would ID him on camera. He quickly took off his shir and flipped it inside out, hiding the logo for the bar he worked at just in case. After he put it back on he walked to the door and gave the door a little jiggle before using his hand to bust the glass. No alarm, or perhaps it was silent, he had to work fast. He walked to the men's section and grabbed anything he could get his hands on and put it into a bag he found at the front checkout. Making his exit, he slipped on one of the light jackets and pulled the hood over his head, makin himself as anonymous as possible. He crossed the street and started walking along the sidewalk, checking over his shoulder for sirens by didn't hear any. When he looked forward again he didn't have time to stop before he ran into someone.

Max: Once the trained reached his stop there wasn't as many people left but the man who had been analyzing him earlier was there. Staring still, acting as if something percuilar was happening even though it was a normal train ride. He got out of the train and made his way to the exit, listening as the footsteps of the man followed his own in rhythm, setting him off as to what was actually planned for him. He adjusted the bag on his shoulder and walked up the stairs into the crowd of the city. The man kept up pretty well no matter how he tried to shake him, which only made getting to his sisters more difficult. He turned down an alley and listened as his own feet hit the puddles and kicked rocks while the follower's didn't. Turning the corner rather sharply, he stopped and stood against the wall waiting for the man to catch up. When he did his arm reached out and caught him square in the chest, knocking the hunter of his feet. Didn't they hire anybody good anymore? One hook to the face and the guy was knocked out cold, giving him access to everything on his persons. A wallet, guys name was Frank by the info on his ID, and he had a lot to lose. A wife, Sharol, two kids, Zack and Melissa, cute kids. Taking the cash and the hunters badge, he stood and walked out of the alley. It wasn't long, especially without any other distractions, for him to get to Nathalie's house. The door was unlocked and the air was thick with he scent of cleaning chemicals. He went straight to where they had found here, lying face down in her own blood, an arrow straight through her chest. He looked around but didnt see anything of interest. When he went to her room, that provided him with more. An address, some apartment building she had for a studio. He shoved the address into his pocket and then grabbed the picture frame of the two of them, shoving it into his bag.

Kairi had ran on foot after a while since she knew that the woman had her plate and she couldnt drive without one. She looked behind her and then back in front, smaking into a guy and falling. She looked up at him, she was still shaken up from the sudden woman that had been her friend and was coming after her along with other people. Kairi breathed hevily not knowing what to do, set him on fire or run.. he didnt look armed. Nor did he look like a normal man. "W-Who are you" she said unstedily. Grabbing her duffle in the process. Flames danced in the blue color of her eyes, but thats all they did when she was in need of power. Her eyes never leaving his face or his arms. She had to make sure he was not armed.

Finally deciding that staying here would achieve nothing, she grabbed her coat from the hall closet. Should she leave the arrow-head here? It was safe, but what if she needed it? Although she wasn't sure why she would need it, it was just a feeling. It was locked up in a secure place that not only was she the only person to be able to open it, but she was the only person who knew where it was located or that the safe even existed. perhaps it was safe here. Making the decision to keep it locked up, and away from injuring her, she wrenched her door open. No one was in this hallway. She was completely alone. What did she expect, a hunter to be standing outside her front door? Closing the door and locking it securely, she proceeded down the hallway to the stairs, pulling her coat over her shoulders as she swiftly walked. Reaching the lobby, there were a few more people here. None looked too suspicious, but she stare intently at each one of them, observing them and trying to guess their blood state. Were they all human? She hoped so.

Marc: Who was he? His name or his species? Lookin over his shoulder again, he noticed that no key was yet coming so he bent down and took her arm in his hand. Once he tugged her up to her feet, he drew in her scent and knew everything was fine. She was like him. Not exactly, a different species of immortal, but she was immortal. "My names Marcus Whittaker, and I'm like you. I'm.." He looked around again, this time searching for hunters hiding in the shadows. "Im a werewolf." His gaze turned back to hers and he turned her around, makin her walk with him in the other direction. "We have to go this way. People are following me that way." Where was the nearest motel again? He had to pay with cash, or they'd trace his credit card. From tonight's earnings he had a total of fifty bucks in his pocket. That'd get him some run down place but still a place. "Who are you?" The question seemed wrong of him to ask, she was a person. Somebody who people would miss if she was erased by hunters.

Max: After a rather uneventful walk to his sisters apartment building, he stood in the lobby reading off the address again. A room 204, second floor he was guessing. He was in such a rush that he hadn't even changed out of his black suit yet. Honestly though, he was too stressed out to do anything with himself. His brown hair was probably messier than its ever been and he was growing some five o'clock shadow along his jaw. Looking around, trying to remain unseen, he searched for any faces he may know or any faces like the guy from the train. Maybe going to the studio was a bad idea? Perhaps the hunters knew about the space and were only waiting by for him to be there? There was only one way to find out, and that was to go and take a look for himself. He only made it across the lobby before his heightened sense of smell picked up a farmiliar scent. Not farmiliar to him exactly, but something he felt drawn towards. Was there another immortal around him? The thought made him look around once again, trying to identify where it was coming from. His gaze settled on a young woman, her own eyes searching the room just as he had been. She must be the cause of the scent. He felt as if he should approach her and ask her if she knew about the hunters, but just the look I her already answered his question. He found himself staring at her, for who knows how long, and trying to figure out wether or no he was supposed to take action. To join her and make sure another immortal breed was safe.

Kairi had been tugged up by the man and she got a bit frightened before he let go. She took in the information he was giving her "Im Kairi, last of the fire users." when he turned her around and started making her walk, she put herself in park and not moving "Im being followed from over here too. its best if we either get in the woods, or deeper in the city. LEft or right." she was not going back, Nope! She turned and looked at him "Turns out every one of us will be hunted down till we're all killed. People even suspected me as immortal due to my red hair because well.. girls dont have a color like mine." she was already cought when people pieced it together. "Also we have to find who else is immortal to save them, I wont give up on them." worth a risk on her part. She heard a car and she grabbed him, quickly running into the woods and hiding behind a bush. The car stopped and the doors had opened. Her heart pounded against her chest so rapidly, it felt like she was gonna die. The footsteps stopped on the other end of the bush, and a head looking into the woods. She bit her lip and the footsteps turned and walked away, getting in the car and driving away. She breathed a sigh of relief and looked over the bush carefully. They were clear now, thats for sure. "We're good." she whispered/

(Ooc: Sorry you guys had to wait. I did say I am never online during the weekends because of my job. But I'm back now! I did take an extra little bit off because I picked up an extra shift, but that shouldn't happen too often.)


Mia's eyes continued to scan the room. She had a feeling that someone didn't belong here. That something wasn't right. Perhaps a hunter was here. Although that wasn't the feeling she was getting. Besides, if a hunter really had turned up at her building, she looked no different from any other person standing here. Then again, how many people just stood to one side of the room? Most were bustling about, getting to and from their rooms, elevators, or the outside world. But here she was standing perfectly still by herself. However, she wasn't the only one. There was someone else. A man. Not only was he standing alone, but he was also staring. At her. Did he know? She caught his eyes and tilted her head questioningly. Something was different about him. Perhaps he was an immortal. He didn't feel like a hunter, but if he was, she didn't want to give away her own status. Even a human would curiously look at someone staring at them.

Marc: Letting out a deep sigh, he stood and brought her up too. "Alright, change in plans. Where do you want to go? Obviously I don't know anything about where to go, all I know is that I was headed to a cheap motel for the night. You up for that? I've got cash so there's no evidence we will be there unless we're followed." He shrugged and adjusted the bag on his shoulder. "Unless you don't want to stick together, but I'm thinking that we can help eachother out honestly. I'm not a very small guy, and I've got strength past a regular mans. Youve got fire on your side and we can really protect eachother honestly. But if your not into it, I'll just head on my way and you can go yours." Even if he didn't want to just leave another immortal out in the cold, he didn't exactly have any power over her and he couldn't just make her come along unwillingly, and he didn't desire to. His instincts were telling him to leave and protect himself but he knew that two heads were better than one, and she had a pretty good chance of survival being a fire elementalist.

Max: She was looking at him, it was easy to tell. Perhaps he was being too obvious about, even if he knew what she was. She didn't know who or what he was and she could already know hunters were on the tracks of every immortal practically. Looking around, he noticed nobody else was looking nor interested in their eye contact so he found it alright to approach her. As he started walking he went through a few things to open up a conversation. It wasn't like he could just blurt out everything, people were around. He couldn't just act like this was a causal hello or a meeting between two complete strangers. It had to be perfect, as not to raise any attention to himself nor her. Once he got to her, he put on a charming smile and gave her a hug. Friends. He had to act as if they were friends. Bringing his mouth up to her ear as he held her in his embrace he whispered quietly. "Sorry for the hug right away, but try to act normal. We don't need any attention drawn to us and people meet relatives and old friends all the time in lobbies. Have they come for you yet?" Perhaps the hug was lasting longer than normal people should hug but old friends who haven't seen each other in years hugged for long periods of time didn't they? It could be normal for his hug to last this long on average. Hopefully she'd play along, he'd tell her the details about himself later. Or should he just tell her that it was alright to open up about these things now? Give her some proof as to who he was? He decided on the latter choice and began speaking again. "We can talk about that later, forget it. My name is Max, and I'm an immortal too. A werewolf to be exact.  My sisters studio is safe, come with me?" He tugged away from the hug and withdrew his arms slowly, just as friends would. Maybe putting all of this on her now was too much, but it was under drastic times and that called for drastic measures.

Kairi now had to think about this. Listening to him ramble, she thought through his words. She nodded "I rather stick with you, even though we had just met, its better to stay with someone your own kind. I plan to keep it that way for a while."They can watch eachothers back the whole time "lets get outta here, I know an abandoned cabin in the woods, not the best, but it'll do" she headed through the woods with him, she used her hand for a small flame to light the way. "I have no idea what made these hunters snap but we are in serious trouble." she said, looking back at him then back ahead "Im glad I bumped into you acually. I wanted to run away with another immortal so I wouldnt be so alone going on my own and having to worry about being awake 24/7." it would kill her to stay up for a long but she would have to deal with it.

As he approached her, she felt cautious, but as he wrapped his arms around her and began to whisper, she understood. Finally, she placed her arms around his waist, perhaps a little too soon after he initiated to hug to be completely plausible at first, but she doubted anyone was paying enough attention to truly notice. So he was another werewolf. She wondered if he was like her, or had gained the classical traits. "Wait," she said as he offered his sister's studio. "My appartement is in this building. I... I have something to show you." And she gestured towards the stairs. Usually people took the elevator up, but the stairs would give them more of an opportunity to explain themselves in private. She leant forward. "They haven't found me yet." She whispered. "But I'm not sure for how much longer that will last."

Marc: There was no point in arguing about wether or not he wanted to go because she had made the decision for him. Being awake 24/7 didn't sound great anyway, so perhaps she was onto something? "This cabin, nobody will come looking for us there? Your sure?" That's saved him some money for whatever else he needed to do. Perhaps feed them if need be. He looked around the dark forest and tried to make out anything that would pose a threat, wether it be a simple wolf, or a hunter on their trail. "I think we've lost them, so no need to rush really. Let's talk about the plans. Do you have any money on your persons?"

Max: "Alright, lead the way then." Maybe she had something to help him out with his sisters death? That would probably be the last thing to happen though. She probably hadn even met his sister, let alone know anything about the hunters who killed her. He grasped her hand in his, becoming quite anxious to get things going. Perhaps his sisters death had taken a bigger toll on him than he let onto himself, but he couldn't be weak in the one time in his life when he was in the most danger. Reaching the door to the stairs, he opened the doors and walked into the silent space. His hand left hers almost immeadiately, embarassed of his sudden boldness. "Sorry, I've really just got a lot on my mind." His hand reached up and loosened his tie more, giving him more room to breath as he heaved a sigh. Sharing details of his life with her however, was the last thing he needed. Breslin that barrier he had suddenly put up to keep himself from breaking down.

Kairi nodded "Yes, im pretty sure. No one really goes there so we should be fine." she slowed her pace when he said they were okay. "I have a few hundreds on me. Enough to last with food snd stuff like that. PLanning, the best plan we can get is avoiding hunters. Hiding the best we can, blending in with others. Which means I have to dye my hair" she groaned "I really dont want to, unless I wear hats all the time so I dont look just as suspecious." She hopped over her log and looked back at Marc "What about you, what do you got?"
